Ever wonder why the Weight Watchers Program has stood the test of time?

Maybe Weight Watchers has some good basics……

I personally used Weight Watchers in 1976 when all they had was a small booklet with simple eating guidelines on their weight loss program. It was my first education in how to eat to lose. Growing up I never had much contact with nutritional data. That little booklet started me on my weight loss journey and I will never be the same. I owe a lot to Weight Watchers. 

Today they have so many tools and even online help which makes it so easy and fun. They support good nutrition, which follows the principle that Overweight Is Malnutrition. They provide quality education and support to help you achieve your weight loss goals.

Weight Watchers developed these four principles based on scientific research. They have used them for about 45 years to bring weight loss success to thousands of people. They are:

• Eat smarter
• Move more
• Get support
• Helpful habits

The one thing Weight Watchers developed that I never supported was the packaged food. I think even they had a realization about that because the more recent versions of their programs include extra encouragement to eat fiber, which comes from real food. The program can be done successfully the natural weight loss way.  Just be sure to stick to real foods and avoid the packages.
