Over the years, I have read hundreds of books. Some have stood out and really helped me. Recently, I wrote my guidelines in my short report Deliciously Skinny Natural Weight Loss (subscribe using the form on the right of this page to get your copy if you don’t have it yet). It’s a brief overview. Prior to that, there is one other person I found that seems to eat how I do and that’s Bethenny Frankel.

When I read her books I thought “She is the only person that I’ve read that has eating habits similar to mine”. I learned some techniques from her that enhanced my eating lifestyle. I’d say we are different because she doesn’t limit to just natural weight loss food. She has a broader range of what she will eat.

I’m not a purist. Even though I will often stick to just real, whole food — I know that eating muffins or corn nuts is something we will all do sometimes. And if that’s more your preference, then she can help you understand how to eat in a healthy way.

One of her rules is about what she calls “Changing Lanes”. This means that you don’t just keep on eating and eating something that is tasting good. You switch off to something else. I use this technique often. I’ll have something delicious, but instead of continuing to eat that one thing until I’m full — I will switch off to something else. This gives me more tastes and more satisfaction. Also, I avoid compulsively eating one food item on and one. I find that once I switch to another taste that I’m kinda done with the first one. It works.
